Westside is a trendy departmental store founded in 1998 by Tata group Trent ltd. It offers a wide range of products from clothing, footwear, accessories to cosmetics and home decor. The chain exclusively offers fashionable apparel under its own brand along with partner brands.
Tata in the year 1998 acquired ‘Littlewoods’ – a London based retail chain from the money they got after selling 50% of Lakme’s share to Hindustan Unilever Limited. Acquisition was followed by establishment of Trent ltd. Subsequently Littlewoods was renamed as ‘Westside’.

To be very honest I never understood why my cousins and my friends watched random episodes of friends and had a hearty laugh, always! I mean, I always saw the show and wondered, ‘what’s so funny about this?’.
Uncannily though, I remembered all your names and your characters had made a slight impression on my mind but I dusted it off as just another show, till I stepped into college and realised that you’ll are the collective favourites of people, all over! I used to find it strange how a show made in the US resonated with the feelings of so many people and to find out more about you guys, I gave into the temptation of watching this show.
To be honest, it took me a while to understand you guys and I delayed watching season 1 for the longest time I possibly could, but with season 2, I quipped with more curiosity and in no time I started binge-watching episodes with enough panache to now qualify as a “F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Fan”. I could now relate to the intro song and every line echoed the dilemma of every young adult striving to make their dreams work despite the job being a joke, they being broke and feeling like life was always stuck in second gear, including the part where it said that it hasn’t been anyone’s day/week/month or even a year! (Yes, that’s almost the whole song in there!)
Each one of you has your own little quirks and I loved how each one of you embraced each other’s personality traits with banter and sarcasm but at the same time had each other’s back through the highest of highs and the lowest of lows! I mean, with Joey’s food cravings and Ross’s brimming excitement about paleontology, Monica’s obsessive need to have things in order, Chandler’s sarcasm, Phoebe’s astonishingly funny nature and Rachel’s love for all things fashion, meant you all were so distinct in your own ways, but when it was time to have each other’s back, you’ll were always, always rooting for each other!
Joey’s sadness when he realises that things are about to change is one of the most heartwarming parts of the entire show and I think it strikes a chord with so many people because, by the end of it, we all were wishing you guys continued to stay together, that nothing about the houses across the hall would change and that we could continue seeing you guys do fun and silly stuff together.
There are so many parts I have laughed so loud that I have probably lost a count of, but thank you for letting the world know that it’s okay to not have your life completely figured out even if you’re 30, that it’s okay to continue to do silly things and that no number of fights can get in the way of showering your friends with forgiveness, love and affection.
Honestly, I did not want to part ways so soon. But like all good things, the show had to come to an end too and when I saw the empty purple house, my heart broke a little and I realised that the girl who thought the show wasn’t funny in the start, has actually looked forward to watching it when there were good days, bad days and on days when she believed that absolutely terrible things were happening, just seeing you being yourselves unapologetically, made life a lot brighter!
Thank you for being the virtual F.R.I.E.N.D.S. I thought I never needed but eventually fell in love with!

Could winter be any more harsh on our skin? While the market is flooded with skincare essentials, but the question remains the same : Do you know which one is good for your skin? As mercury drops, the oil glands in the skin produce less oils (ofcourse if you have oily skin it wont dry much but the winter chill can still affect it) , thus less moisturising for the skin and this means dehydration and dryness of the skin.
Here are some tips to make sure your skin keeps glowing in this chilly season..
1.Moisturize well
Make sure you moisture your skin everyday to prevent dry and flaky skin. You can opt for face serums, if you don’t like heavy creams.
2. Wash your face with warm water
Try to avoid washing your face with hot water since it drains the natural oils out of your skin.
3. Drink more water
The most common problem of winter is dehydration because we don’t feel thirsty and thus decreases the fluid amount in our body which affects our skin as well. If you find it difficult to drink plain water you can go for its alternatives. Try lemon water or coconut water. If that doesn’t help either, try adding fruits and vegetables since it helps in flavouring the water.
4.Keep up with your SPF
When the temperature is low, one of the last things on your mind is putting on SPF before you head out of the door. But, the sun can still do damage, no matter how cold it is outside. Do not forget to apply sunscreen all 12 months, no matter how unnecessary it might feel.

During nine days Maa Durga or Mother Goddess is worshiped in each of her nine avatars, with each day having different ritual associated with it. Summers and pastels are a marriage made in fashion heaven. However the delicate hues can even lead to fashion faux paus.
Even the fashion dense knows one cardinal rule – pastels for summer. Scientifically, too, this rule relates to not only fashion but also a sense of comfort given how lighter colours actually you as the mercury starts rising.
This trend can often be tricky to pull off. For instance, if we pair any solid colour with a pastel, the solid colour will dominate. So one must be cautious while choosing powdery blue or milk caramel to wear as these are difficult shades to pull off. Don’t wear one pastel shades from head to toe instead opt for two pastels together.
Dual toned pastel gown
There are few big no – nos when it comes to styling pastels. While colour blocking with pastel shades is a great idea, I believe that wearing too many pastel shades at once is a mistake best avoided. Stick to two or three colour shades at most as more than that can go wrong.
That being said, it is not just the shade palette that can go awry. Given how soft and delicate hues are, one can often go wrong with its styling. And one styling mistake can totally ruin the pastel look is the wrong choice of shoes. If you are wearing pastels then avoid wearing dark colour shoes, heels or accessories to add that extra bling.🌟

Fashion
My fashion favourite for the month has been this greyish colored Mickey mouse sweatshirt paired up with sash blue denim shorts. I am in love with this combination in particular because it is super comfortable, easy-going and sporty as well when paired up with sneakers.
Accessories
My favourite would be these really cute and colorful pair of hoops. These pair of ear rings look very pretty with anything and everything. It is so minimalistic but definitely adds a lot of elegance to your look.
Beauty
I am a huge fan of their products. With the weather getting more humid, this is one of very few hair care products that I use and love.
How I use?
I apply this all over my damp hair after showering. It noticeably makes my hair softer, smoother, more manageable and shinier.

Movie
I love watching movies. My recent favourite film is Inception and I absolutely loved it. The plot is really amazingggg and the actors just killed it with their acting skills. This movie stars Leonardo di Caprio as the male protagonist. I watched the movie thrice and I must say that the film is spectacular and a must watch for all.

The fanny pack aka bum bag, belt bag or waist bag ; many names with one single purpose has made a fabulous comeback. It is hands-free and it elevates every outfit. You can integrate it into your everyday wardrobe. As fashion designers are known to restyle, the belt bag has been reinvented for the new season.
If you search for denim jackets in stores or online, its clear how many different type of denims are available to buy. Do you like classic blue denim? Check. Do you like one with an oversized fit? Check. Do you like colored denim? Yup, that’s out there too. It can be frustating to keep up with the ever changing fashion trends and sometimes we even feel like throwing away few pieces which are not in trend. But hey! Behold the denim jacket as it is an evergreen trend and must-have wardrobe staple.
